Man arrested and drugs/cash seized following warrant this morning in Liverpool

We have arrested a man and seized suspected Class A drugs and around £50,000 cash following a warrant in Liverpool this morning, Friday 8 July.
Liverpool Local Policing officers carried out a warrant at a premises on Smithdown Lane, resulting in the seizure of the items (pictured).
A 25-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
He has been taken into custody for questioning as enquiries continue.
Local Policing Inspector Dave Uren said: "The man arrested will now be questioned and we're pleased to have removed from the streets drugs capable of causing significant harm in our communities, as well as what could be the criminal proceeds of this activity.
"We respond to all information received about suspected drug storage, supply and manufacture, so if you have any information and want to help bring those to justice who are intent on spreading misery, let us know.
