A man has been charged with a drug offence in St Helens following a disturbance on Monday 18 July.
At around 10.30pm it was reported that a man was causing a disturbance on Blackbrook Road and assaulted a woman by slapping her in the face a number of times.
The man then left the area and went to a nearby property and caused damage.
Ben Michael Tinsley, 40 years, of Allscott Way in Ashton-in Makerfield, was arrested later that evening and has now been charged with a possession of a controlled Class A drug (cocaine).
Tinsley has been bailed and will appear at St Helens Magistrates Court on 23 August 2022.
