We are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Huyton at around midnight last night (Thursday 2 June into Friday 3 June).
Officers were called to Lyme Close just before 12.05am where it was reported three males appeared to follow a fourth male down an alleyway, before all four males came back onto Lyme Close.
The males appeared to be involved in an altercation, and a short time later a dark-coloured car and white van were seen making off from the area at speed.
The three males were described as white, in black clothing and with their faces covered.
There have been no reports of anyone injured or assaulted during the incident, and enquiries at the scene are ongoing.
