Further update: Investigation underway after man assaulted in Kirkby

We have arrested a fourth person following an incident on Roughwood Drive in Kirkby on Thursday 2nd June in which a man was assaulted and suffered a head injury.
A 40 year-old man from the Kirkby area has been arrested on suspicion of s18 assault, affray, dangerous driving, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
