We interviewed a 25-year-old man on Friday 20 May after a flare was thrown in Goodison Park during a goal celebration.
The incident took place during the Everton v Chelsea Premier League fixture on Sunday 1 May, and the flare was thrown towards an area of the ground between the Gwladys Street stand and the Main Stand, away from the main seating areas.
The man has been dealt with by way of a community resolution.
