A man from Netherton is the latest to be charged with drug offences as part of Operation Venetic.
A warrant was executed on Wednesday 1 June at the home of Daniel Rushworth, 33 years, of Deerbarn Drive, Netherton where he was arrested.
A large quantity of cash, cocaine and cannabis were seized from the house as well as drugs paraphernalia.
Rushworth was later charged with conspiracy to supply Class A & B drugs (cocaine and cannabis), possession with intent to supply a Class A and B drugs (cocaine and cannabis), selling/transferring a prohibited weapon/ammunition and money laundering.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court yesterday (Thursday 2 June).
The charge forms another part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: the national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
