We are appealing for information following a report a motorbike was on fire in Childwall this afternoon (Thursday 9 March).
At around 12.20pm emergency services were called to a report that a motorbike was on fire in the middle of the road on Childwall Park Avenue, near to the Black Woods.
Three males were then reported to have been seen riding off on motorbikes towards Woolton Village.
There are no reports of anyone injured during the incident.
Two cars, a Nissan and a Range Rover, were reported to have been damaged near to the incident.
A section of Childwall Park Avenue and Porlock Avenue are currently closed while emergency services attend the incident.
We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route. We thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident.
We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
