Officers from our #OpTarget team in Knowsley have seized a large cannabis farm comprising of around 2,000 plants.
We attended a building on Charley Wood Road just before 1pm on Thursday (3rd March) following reports that drugs were being grown in the area.
When officers arrived, they quickly entered a derelict building where they located the established farm.
Inspector Dave Morgan said “This is a significant find for us and officers have been busy clearing the location over the weekend. Unfortunately, no one has yet been arrested in connection with the farm but we are continuing to investigate and have already been speaking to business owners and locals nearby so I am confident we will track the owners down.
“If you have any information, please get in touch quoting crime reference number: 22000152105.”
