A third person has been arrested following a shooting on Upper Warwick Street, Toxteth on Tuesday (1 March).
The 27-year-old man from Toxteth, was arrested last night (Wednesday 2 March) on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm without a certificate.
The 21-year-old man from Toxteth who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life remains under arrest.
A 60-year-old man from Toxteth who had earlier been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has now been released under investigation.
The 15-year-old girl who was injured remains in a stable condition in hospital.
We would urge anyone who has information, witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage to come forward as their information could greatly assist the investigation.
