We are appealing for information after a car was driven towards a group of people in Bootle on Saturday night (14 May).
It was reported several men and women were involved in an altercation outside PSD Sports Lounge on Stanley Road at about 9pm.
During the incident, a dark coloured VW Golf car was driven by a woman involved in the altercation towards people on the pavement. The car was then driven away.
No injuries have been reported to police at this stage.
Officers attended and have made CCTV enquiries at the scene as well as speaking to potential witnesses.
Detective Inspector Phil Atkinson said: “This was an incredibly dangerous incident and we are extremely fortunate that nobody was seriously injured.
“We know that there were a number of people in the vicinity at the time of the incident, and we appeal to anyone with information about what happened before and during this incident to contact police as we work to understand exactly what took place.
“Any information you provide could help bring the person responsible to justice.”
