Detectives are issuing an image of a man who may have information that could assist an investigation into an assault in Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday 2 May.
At around 4.10am officers were called to a report of an assault outside a bar on Temple Court.
It was reported that a 43-year-old woman was assaulted during a fight between two men outside the bar.
The victim was taken to hospital after the incident and is now recovering at home.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing and anyone who recognises the man pictured or has any information is asked to contact police.
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi said: “We think the man pictured may have vital information to help our enquiries so if you know him, please come forward.
“If you recognise him or were on Temple Court at the time of the attack and may have seen what happened please do let us know.
“The assault happened during the early hours of a busy bank holiday Monday in a central part of Liverpool when people may have been leaving restaurants, bars and nightclubs in the area. If you were in the area at around 4am and witnessed the incident or anything suspicious and have captured images of those involved via your mobile or CCTV footage please contact police as a matter of urgency.”
