Man, 26, charged with robbery in Netherley

We have charged a man in connection with a robbery in Netherley.

Adam Challoner, 26, of Bechers, Widnes, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court this morning, Friday 20^th May.

The charges relate to an incident Hastie Close in Netherley on Thursday 28^th April during which a food delivery driver was threatened with a knife and had his car stolen.
