We have charged a 21-year-old man with firearms offences.
At around 7.50pm on Friday 6 May, police executed a warrant at an address on Lyle Street, Vauxhall.
Officers recovered a firearm and ammunition, Three males, aged 21, 19 and 17, all from Liverpool, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm without a certificate.
All three were taken into custody for questioning.
Joseph Childs, 21, of Lyle Street, Liverpool has now been charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court tomorrow morning, Monday 9 May.
The 17-year-old and 19-year-old arrested have now been bailed with conditions.
