Three men have been charged after warrants in Liverpool yesterday morning, Tuesday 17 May.
Three men were arrested at addresses in Speke, Garston and Halewood following an extensive joint investigation with Police Scotland and County Lines Taskforce to disrupt county lines drug dealings that were going from Liverpool to Inverness.
Officers from the Matrix Drone Unit also assisted, as part of the official launch of the Force’s first operational drone division.
Two men aged 24 and one man aged 26 have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences following a joint operation with Merseyside Police.
The men are in custody and will be put before the Sheriffs court in Inverness.
Detective Inspector William Nimmo, of Police Scotland’s Inverness Divisional Organised Crime Team, said: “I would like to thank our colleagues at Merseyside Police for assisting with this operation.
“Our partnership approach shows our commitment to taking appropriate action against people profiting from the sale of illegal and harmful substances.”
If you have concerns about drug dealing in your area you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, call Merseyside Police on 101 or DM @MerpolCC. Always contact 999 if a crime is in progress.
