We are circulating images of several people who officers think may have information in connection with a large-scale disturbance in Birkenhead earlier this month.

At around 4am on Sunday 6th November, we received a report of a fight on Conway Street between a large groups of males, some using weapons.

The incident began when a group of males were gathered outside a bar and two individuals have started fighting.

This has then escalated into a large scale fight between several males and also a female.

During the incident, the female has been punched and knocked unconscious.

The males have then made their way onto nearby Argyle Street and the fighting has continued.

CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing and anyone who recognises the people pictured, or who has any information, is asked to contact police.

Detective Sergeant Nick Glascott-Tull said: "This violent incident appears to have involved several people and we are determined to find those responsible and put them before the courts.

“To get involved in such violent scenes is completely unacceptable. Thankfully, we haven’t received any reports of anyone being seriously injured as a result of this incident.

“If you recognise any of these people involved, please get in touch as we believe they could have information that will help our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact @MerPolCC or 101 with reference number 22000814709.

You can also pass information anonymously via Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
