Detectives working on Project Medusa, our dedicated County Lines team, have arrested and charged a man following a warrant earlier this week in Liverpool.
On Monday, 8 November, officers carried out a warrant at an address in Easdale Walk in connection with a suspected County Line operation between Merseyside and Runcorn in Cheshire. A man was arrested at property during the warrant.
26-year-old Anthony O’Connor of Bullen Road in Southdene has now been charged with the supply of Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin) and possession of Class B and Class A drugs.
O’Connor appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court yesterday, Wednesday 9 November where he pleaded guilty and was remanded into custody.
He will attend Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday 7 December.
