We have arrested three people and seized drugs, cash and suspected stolen property following an incident in Everton yesterday, Tuesday 29 November.

At around 12.40pm, officers observed suspected drug transactions at the rear of an address on Stanley Road. Two men were stopped, detained and searched, with suspected cocaine and heroin seized.

A further search of the property resulted in drugs, cash, a knife, a suspected stolen scooter and electric bike.

The following arrests were made:
A 19-year-old man from Wrexham was arrested on suspicion of cocaine supply; possession of cannabis; theft of a motor vehicle; theft of a conveyance other than motor vehicle or pedal cycle; and possession of criminal property.
A 45-year-old man from Everton was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon; theft of a motor vehicle; theft of a conveyance other than motor vehicle or pedal cycle; and possession of criminal property.
A 44-year-old woman from Everton was arrested on suspicion of cocaine supply; theft of a motor vehicle; theft of a conveyance other than motor vehicle or pedal cycle; and possession of criminal property.

All three remain in custody.

Additionally, a 40-year-old man from Anfield and a 59-year-old man from Liverpool City Centre were arrested on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine and have voluntarily attended. The first remains under investigation and the second will be dealt with via community resolution.

Detective Inspector Katie Coote said: "As these arrests and seizures show, officers across Merseyside are proactive in dealing with the harm of drug supply and the possession of dangerous weapons, as well as the associated theft and other crime that such activity attracts.

“If you have any information about locations of suspected drug dealing or the storage of drugs and weapons, let us know and we will do all we can to remove such risk from the community."
