An Aigburth man will be recalled to prison following an incident in Kensington on Monday 10 October.
At around 9.20pm, officers attended an address in Liverpool to carry out enquiries in relation to an electric bike being allegedly ridden at speed.
A man reportedly assaulted an officer at the address, before being detained and arrested.
31-year-old Kevin Weetman of Croxteth Drive, Aigburth has now been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and possession of cannabis. He will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning (Wednesday 12 October).
