Detectives are circulating an image of a man who may have information in connection with an assault in Liverpool City Centre in August.
At around 5am on Sunday 7 August, a man in his 30s was assaulted in Heaven nightclub on Victoria Street. He was reportedly punched to the face by one man and then kicked on the floor by the first suspect and a second man. He was taken home and sustained facial injuries.
An image has now been obtained of a man who detectives wish to speak to.
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi said: "This was an vicious and unprovoked assault on a man who was simply enjoying a night out with friends. Thankfully he was not seriously injured but went through a distressing experience and we are continuing to support him as we investigate. We're keen to speak to the man pictured who may have vital information to assist our enquiries.
"Likewise, if you were at Heaven on the night in question and saw or captured what happened, please come forward and we will take action."
