We have today, Wednesday 26th October, charged a 16-year-old boy with multiple offences as part of an investigation by our Operation Castle team into burglaries in the Liverpool area.
The teenager, who is from the Liverpool area, has been charged with 12 burglaries, 11 offences of theft of a motor vehicle, two offences of being in possession of a bladed article and one offence of possession of a controlled drug.
The burglaries and thefts took place between 21st June and 14th August 2022 at addresses in the Clubmoor, Anfield and Walton areas.
The teenager was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Youth Court today.
Operation Castle is our dedicated burglary team, which was first launched in 2018.
