Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary for jewellery and cash in Wirral earlier this month.
At some time between Thursday 8 and Saturday 10 September, entry was forced to a house on Hoole Road, Woodchurch and a safe containing cash and jewellery (some of it pictured below) were stolen. Forensic, witness and CCTV enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Inspector Emma Kerrigan said: "We are still working to establish what was stolen but such offences cause significant distress and inconvenience to victims and in the wider community.
"If you saw, heard or captured anything suspicious in the Hoole Road area around these days, come forward. Your information, CCTV or doorbell footage could be vital in finding those responsible, or identifying how they transported a heavy safe from the area."
"Likewise, if you have seen or been offered jewellery in recent days, online or in person, do the right thing and let us know, so we can reunite these items with their rightful owner. Monetary value aside, the sentimental value of jewellery simply cannot be measured."
