We are appealing for information following a large scale fight between youths in Prescot yesterday (Tuesday 18 April).
At 5.45pm, we received a report of that around 20 youths were fighting in an alleyway near Miller Court.
Two teenage boys sustained facial injuries. One was assessed by paramedics at the scene while the other was taken to hospital for treatment to his serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The group of youths were described as wearing all black clothing, with some on pedal bikes.
CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Inspector Mark Berry said: “This violent incident appears to have involved a group of around 20 youths and we are determined to find those involved.
“We will not tolerate this type of behaviour in our community and an investigation is ongoing. If you have any information that could assist our enquiries, please get in touch."
