We are continuing to appeal for information to assist a murder investigation after a man was stabbed in Croxteth last month.
Kasey Anderson, 24, from Croxteth, was attacked on Carr Lane East on Saturday 11 March and sadly passed away from his injuries on Friday 31 March.
Our enquiries are ongoing and we are now appealing for a potential witness to come forward who may have information.
We believe that a male was riding a pedal bike on Carr Lane East at around 6.30pm on 11 March and we are asking him to come forward as he could assist our investigation.
Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East has previously been charged with Section 18 wounding and remains in custody at this time.
A man and a woman also arrested in connection with the incident remain on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Ben Wayment said: “We are appealing for a male who was riding his bike on Carr Lane East at around 6.30pm to please come forward as he may have information to help our ongoing investigation.
“If anyone else has any information that you think may assist us, please come forward.
“Specialist officers are continuing to support Kasey’s family in this difficult time, and we continue to ask for anyone with information to come forward if you are yet to do so.”
Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC, call 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 23000208420.
