We are appealing for information after three men were assaulted in Kirkby.
At around 3.30pm on Wednesday 12 April we received a report that three men riding pedal bikes were attacked on Bewley Drive.
It was reported that three men in a plain white coloured Ford Transit Van who were travelling behind the victims got out of their vehicle and assaulted the men on the road.
The three suspects then got back into the van and drove off down Bewley Drive away from Kirkby.
Two of the men suffered head injuries and were treated in hospital.
Officers have carried out extensive CCTV examinations and witness enquiries in the area and detectives are continuing to appeal for more information.
Detective Inspector Yoseph Al-Ramadhan said: “This was a violent unprovoked attack on three men who suffered several injuries and we are doing everything we can to find the people responsible and bring them to justice.
“We are continuing to carry out a number of CCTV and witness enquiries in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the assault or has any dashcam footage of the incident on Bewley Drive at around 3.30 pm last Wednesday.
“Similarly, if you saw the white coloured Ford Transit Van on Bewley Drive at the time of the attack please contact police. Any information you hold could be vital to our enquiries.
“Such violence will not be tolerated on our streets in Merseyside. Our officers are working hard to ensure the safety of our communities in Kirkby.
“If you witnessed any part of the incident or saw the suspects, then do let us know as any information you hold could support our enquiries.”
