A Knowsley man has today, Wednesday 12 April, been charged with a number of offences including robbery, theft and driving offences.
On Monday 10 April it was reported that a man was in his work vehicle on Brickfields in Huyton Business Park when a man approached him and pulled him out of his vehicle, then following a struggle the offender drove off in the vehicle.
Officers located the offender and the stolen vehicle.
Michael Ellis, 44 years, of Longview Drive, Huyton has been charged with robbery, theft from a person, criminal damage and a number of driving offences.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 12 April.
