Man arrested for suspected rape in city centre

A man has been arrested on suspicion of a suspected rape in Liverpool in city centre in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 6 April.

Police were called to Bolton Street at around 1.45am.

Officers attended and a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape of a female. He is still in custody to be questioned by police.
