Detectives have issued a CCTV still of two men they believe may have information that could assist enquiries into a burglary at The Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle on Thursday (3 August).
At around 8.30am, officers were called to Three in the shopping centre to a report a man had forced entry to a stock room at the store and stolen 17 devices.
He was seen to make off via a fire exit directly onto Stanley Road.
Officers have carried out CCTV enquiries in the shopping centre and surrounding area.
Detective Inspector James Halpin said: "We're keen to hear from anyone who recognises the two men pictured, as well as any witnesses who saw this incident, or captured any part of it on dashcam on Stanley Road at about 8.30am on Thursday.
“Any information could be the key to finding those responsible.
"Business burglaries are far from victimless crimes. They can leave innocent members of staff who live locally fearful of going to work, damage to property and can cause distress and great inconvenience to customers.
“We're supporting staff as our enquiries continue, and urge anyone who recognises the men pictured, anyone who has been offered a device since the burglary in suspicious circumstances or anyone who has any information to come forward and we will take action."
