We have issued images of a man we believe may have information and could assist with our enquiries following a collision in Liverpool that left a young boy injured on Sunday 16 July.
Merseyside Police received reports of a collision that occurred just before 3.50pm on Church Street near to the junction of Basnett Street involving a young boy and a delivery man riding an electric bike.
The young boy was taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries and landing on his head after the incident.
The delivery man stopped briefly after the collision before leaving on his bike.
Since the collision officers have carried out extensive CCTV and witness enquiries in the area and have issued images of a man they believe could assist with their investigation.
Sergeant Christine Walker said: “Thankfully no one was seriously injured after this collision and the young boy left hospital a short time later.
“Our officers are now keen to speak to the man pictured in these images as we believe he may hold information that could be vital to our ongoing investigation.
“We would also appeal to anyone who was on Church Street near to the junction of Basnett Street on Sunday 16 July and saw the incident to contact us as they may have information that could support our enquiries.
