A man has been charged following a series of burglaries in Thingwall last week.
During the early hours of Wednesday 26 July it was reported that a man broke into eight houses on Pensby Road, Beaumaris Drive and Barnston Road and stole a bike, handbag and a purse.
Yesterday (Thursday 3 August) officers arrested a man on suspicion of burglary.
Ben Kelly, aged 23, of Hale Road in Speke has been charged with four counts of burglary, three counts of fraud and three counts of theft from a motor vehicle.
He has been remanded into custody will attend a hearing at Liverpool Knowsley & Sefton Magistrates Court at 2pm today (Friday 4 August).
