A man has been charged with money laundering and drug offences after designer items and a Range Rover Sport were seized from an address in Roby.
Yesterday (Wednesday 30th August) officers searched an address in Roby and uncovered several high-end designer items including watches and clothing after they stopped and arrested a man in his vehicle on suspicion of drug offences.
Anthony Harrison, aged 37, of Roby Nook, Roby was later charged with conspiracy to conceal, disguise, convert, transfer and remove criminal property and being concerned in the supply of Class A & B Drugs (Ecstasy and cannabis).
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court this afternoon, Thursday 31 August.
The charge forms part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of encrypted mobile devices, commonly referred to as Encrochat.
