Three people have been charged following a robbery in Liverpool city centre earlier this week.
At around 5pm on Monday 14 August, it was reported that a 17-year-old boy and his friend were in Chavasse Park when four males attacked them, and stole the victim’s coat which contained his mobile phone.
The 17-year-old victim sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.
Three males have been charged with offences including robbery, assault and fraud. They are Souheib Alkhatib, 18 years, of Breckfield Road North, Everton, Mostafa Qarnoub, 18 years, of Downing Road, Bootle and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be made for legal reasons.
They will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 16 August.
Detectives have also issued CCTV images (above) of a further male who may have information that may assist with their enquiries in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “I am appealing to the male featured in these images, or anyone who recognises him to come forward. We believe he could hold information that could help with our continuing enquiries.”
