Three people have been charged with burglary and theft in Whiston, Prescot and St Helens areas

Three people have been arrested and charged with burglaries and thefts which took place in Prescot, Whiston and St Helens.

On 15^th August it was reported that a house in the St Helens area had been burgled, followed by a further report on 16^th August where a car in Prescot had been broken into with money and earphones stolen.

Another burglary of a building in the Whiston area was reported on 20^th August.

Following an investigation by detectives from the St Helens and Knowsley Investigation Team and officers from the Knowsley Neighbourhood Policing Team, three people have been charged with burglary and theft offences.

Peter Edward Yates, 34 years, of Kingsway in Prescot has been charged with burglary offences.

Robin Hughes, 26 years, of Salvia Street in Kensington, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle.

Daniel Yates, 32 years, of Kingsway in Prescot has been charged with burglary offences, and resisting a constable in the execution of their duty from an incident that occurred in Prescot.

They will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Friday 25^th August.

Two men have also been released on conditional bail in relation suspected theft of motor vehicle on 14^th August in Whiston and on 23^rd August in Prescot.
