A female pedestrian who was killed in a road traffic collision in Everton yesterday has been formally identified as Nicole Cummings.
The 24-year-old woman died following a collision with a lorry on Wilbraham Street, near its junction with Scotland Road, at around 8.30am on Thursday 10 August.
Paramedics attended, but Nicole was sadly pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
A 51-year-old man from Lancashire stopped at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released under investigation.
