Detectives continue to appeal for information after a man was shot in the leg in Everton on Sunday 3 December.
Just before 12.20am it was reported that a man in his 20s had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg whilst he was with a group of friends in the area of Rupert Lane Recreation Ground close to the carpark.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
An investigation is underway and detectives are now appealing to anyone who was parked in the area or who has footage of the incident to contact us.
Detective Inspector John Mullen said: “This was a frightening incident, and one which could have had fatal consequences to those targeted or indeed anyone who was on Rupert Lane.
“Thankfully the man will make a full recovery and our officers are continuing to appeal to anyone who was parked in the area or saw or heard anything suspicious to contact us as a matter of urgency.
“If your car was on Rupert Lane carpark at around 12.20am on Sunday 3 December please contact police so we can speak to you about this incident. Even if your vehicle didn’t capture the incident please let us know your whereabouts.
“Similarly, if you were in the area at the time of the incident and took any photos or videos on your phone or have any dashcam footage please contact police or use the following link to send us your recordings.
