A man was charged on Friday (15 December) with assault with intent to commit robbery and theft from shop.
At around 6.45am on Monday 24 July police were called to the junction of Shaw Lane and Kingsway, Prescot, to reports of a fight.
Daniel Yates, aged 32, of Alt Bank House, Kirkby, was arrested and has now been charged with assault with intent to commit robbery and theft from shop. He has been remanded into custody to appear before Liverpool Crown Court on 15 January.
