A man from Rainhill has been charged with a drug offence yesterday, Monday 4 December.
At around 7:50pm on Sunday 3 December, officers arrested a man and a woman in Hayes Avenue in Prescot, Knowsley.
Ben Hampson, 25 years, of Wildcherry Gardens in Rainhill has been charged with possession of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis) and obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty.
He has been bailed to appear in court at a later date.
The 20-year-old woman from St Helens was arrested for possession of a controlled Class B drug (cannabis) and has been released with no further action.
