We are appealing for information following a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle in St Helens today, Monday 4 December.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, has been taken to hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Both drivers have stopped at the scene and are assisting officers with their enquiries.
