We are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Anfield this morning, Monday 6 February.
At around 8.30am, emergency services were called to the junction of Walton Lane and Anfield Road to reports of a collision involving a Renault Clio and a female pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital for assessment of serious injuries. A road closure is in place at the junction of Anfield Road and Walton Breck Road as enquiries continue.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
