A man has been charged this afternoon (Wednesday 15 February) with sexual assault and other offences following recent incidents in St Helens.
At around 1.35pm on Monday 13 February we received a report that a woman in her 50s was walking into Sutton Park when she was approached and sexually assaulted.
Ehssan Delawar, aged 24, of no fixed address has been charged with sexual assault, section 47 assault and two counts of public order offences.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 16 February.
