We have arrested a man and seized suspected drugs following an incident in Egremont, Wirral in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday January 2023.
At around 1.25am, officers sighted a suspicious male on Larch Road, and he was detained for a search. A bag of white powder was found. A further search of an address nearby found further white powder (pictured), bags of suspected cannabis (pictured), and other paraphernalia.
A 31-year-old man from Egremont was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. He was taken to a police station for questioning.
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: “This was smart police work which has removed drugs we suspect were destined for the streets. Any information you provide to us on where drugs are makes the communities safer from the harm caused and the other risks which drug supply invariably attracts."
If you have any information about the storage and supply of drugs where you are, contact us @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, and we will take action.
