Detectives have charged a man following a stabbing in Walton on Monday, 16 January.
At around 12.20pm, we received a report that a woman had sustained stab wounds inside a property. A man was later arrested on the flyover on Breeze Hill.
The victim is now recovering following hospital treatment.
Thomas McClean, 35, from Walton has now been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.
McClean will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday 18 January.
