We have charged a man from Newton-le-Willows with drugs offences as part of Operation Toxic.
John Sonaike, 20, of Belvedere Road, was arrested on Tuesday 17 January and charged with the offences of being concerned in the supply and intent to supply a Class B drug (cannabis), concerned in the supply of cocaine and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
He appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court earlier today (Wednesday 18 January) and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday 15 February.
Officers will continue to target suspected criminals through Operation Toxic, which is Merseyside Police's initiative to infiltrate County Lines drug dealings.
