Statement on police presence in Greasby, Wirral

We can confirm that officers are in Greasby following the unexplained death of a man.

At around 5am this morning (Wednesday 18 January), the body of a man was found in woods at Upton Meadow, off Greasby Road. He was sadly pronounced deceased.

The incident is being treated as unexplained while enquiries are carried out, but is not initially believed to be suspicious.
