Three arrested and drugs and cash seized following incident in Rock Ferry

Officers have arrested three people following an incident in Rock Ferry yesterday, Tuesday 24 January.
 
At around 4pm, officers sighted two men in a suspected drugs transaction in Rock Lane East. Three people were detained during the incident. Drugs, cash, a knuckle duster and other paraphernalia were found following a search of a location nearby.
 
The three people arrested are:
 
A 16-year-old boy from Rock Ferry was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs. He remains in custody.
A 36-year-old woman from Rock Ferry was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. She remains in custody.
A 15-year-old boy from Higher Bebington was arrested on suspicion of obstructing police and criminal damage to a police vehicle, after attempting to obstruct officers in the search, resisting arrest and reportedly spitting inside a police vehicle. He has been released under investigation. 
 
Community Policing Inspector Daniel Greenhalgh said: "We know the harm that drug supply causes, both to drug users, and in the serious and organised crime and violence that comes with such activity. 
 
“These results were the result of good proactive policing work, but we will also act on information which comes in from those communities who feel the harm, so get this to us directly or anonymously and we will do the rest."
