A man has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence following an incident during the Everton vs Newcastle match in April.
On Thursday 27 April 2023, it was reported that a man directed racist abuse towards several Everton players during the Premier League match held at Goodison Park.
Tyler Gordon, 26, from Newcastle, was arrested at the stadium and has now been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.
He has been conditionally bailed and due to appear at Sefton Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 30 August.
