A man has been arrested following an incident in Netherley today, Wednesday, 5 June.
At around 8.30am we received a report of a concern for safety of a man on a roof of a property on Wheatfield Close.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested having been wanted for a recall to prison and on suspicion of attempted assault occasioning Grievous Bodily Harm
Two knives were recovered from the scene.
Surrounding roads in the area have now been reopened. Thank you for your patience while the incident was being dealt with.
