A St Helens man has been charged with A firearm offence following a stop and search of a car.
On Wednesday 21st June, officers stopped a car on Dunnings Bridge Road in Netherton, and following enquires a search was carried out a property in St Helens.
Carl Norman Donohue, 36 years, of Kent Road, St Helens has been charged with possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
Donohue appeared at Wirral Remand Court today, Friday 23 June, and he will next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 21 July.
