We are appealing for information following a collision in Kirkby involving a pedestrian and a suspected black Volkswagen estate vehicle.
At around 2pm on Sunday 14 May a man was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen estate vehicle on Old Rough Lane in Kirkby.
The woman driving the vehicle stopped and drove the man to a nearby house in Kirkby.
The man was later taken to hospital where it was confirmed that he had sustained a serious injury to his arm.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries were carried out in the area after the collision was reported and we are working to identify the driver of the vehicle as she could hold evidence that could assist our enquiries.
Constable Karen Birmingham said: "We are keen to speak with the driver of this vehicle who was driving along Old Rough Lane in Kirkby when the incident occurred as any information they give could really support our enquiries."
“If you were driving this car, saw this incident on Old Rough Lane in Kirkby and hold dashcam footage within your vehicle, then please get in touch as you may have information that could assist our investigation.”
