Detectives have issued CCTV images of a man who could have information that may assist with their enquiries following a robbery in Liverpool City Centre.
Just after 5am on Sunday 5 February, it was reported that a man was on Back Colquitt Street when he was approached by a group of men who were in possession of a knife. They demanded the victim to hand over his possessions to the offenders.
No injuries were reported but the victim but was shaken by the incident.
CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing to identify the suspects responsible, and detectives have issued images of a man they believe could assist with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This was a frightening incident for the victim to have experienced and thankfully he wasn’t injured during the robbery.
“We urge people who were in the vicinity at around 5am on Sunday 5 February and may have noticed something suspicious to please contact us.
“I am also appealing to the man featured in this image, or anyone who recognises him to come forward. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.”
