We are appealing for information following a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus in Bootle today, Monday 3 April.
At around 10.20am it was reported that a pedestrian in his 60s had been involved in a collision with a bus on Stanley Road.
The pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not life threatening.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Stanley Road and Marsh Lane up to Merton Road are currently closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. We ask that drivers avoid the area and find an alternative route. We thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident.
We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
